The 200-acre farm is home to dairy cattle, pigs, sheep and more and of course, your farmer hosts, The Tommerup family. Milking cows in a real working dairy is always a thrill for children and adults alike. Don't miss joining in on the daily animal feeding and egg collecting.
Visit Tommerup's Farm Larder where you'll find artisan dairy products produced on the farm, by the farmers, ethically raised Heritage breed free-range pork, Rose Veal, Gourmet Ice Cream and Tommy's Pastured Eggs all from the Tommerup's Farm. Tommerup's Farm Larder is open by arrangement or specified open days only.
The Homestead, the original family home built in 1888 now comfortably sleeps up to 13 people. Charming self-contained country accommodation with all the modern conveniences. Get your hands dirty on the farm or just lose yourself in the serenity.
The Homestead
The Homestead, built in 1888 as the Horan family home and the first sawn timber home in the district, has been home to five generations of Dave Tommerup's family. It's now the perfect setting for a holiday in the country. Comfortably sleeping 10 people but can extend for 13 guests, making it perfect for extended family and friends to catch up whilst enjoying a truly authentic farm holiday adventure.
Featuring three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully self contained kitchen and verandahs on both sides to capture the magnificent views across the farm, The Homestead features modern living conveniences in a rustic country farmhouse.
Sit back on the verandah and watch the milking cows meander past on their morning stroll. Country relaxation at its best.
Farm Stay Accommodation
Located in the picturesque Scenic Rim region, their farm cottage and homestead offer visitors the opportunity to 'escape to the country' and experience a genuine Australian working farm. Get 'hands-on' at the dairy; lend a hand to milk their herd, help out with animal feeding, drop a line in the river or just relax on their 200 acre farm.
