Following a passion for wine and food, Queensland entrepreneur Terry Morris visited the Granite Belt wine region and learnt of its unique terroir and climate known for producing outstanding wine, sparking his vision for Sirromet. With 100 hectares under vine, Sirromet’s vineyards are located in the high altitude of Queensland’s Granite Belt region where climate, terroir and soil combine to create the perfect location for producing premium quality wines.
Despite the vineyards location in the Granite Belt, Sirromet's state-of-the-art winery is ideally located at Mount Cotton, just 30 minutes from the iconic Gold Coast and Brisbane airport, the winery is set over 560 acres and is surrounded by natural bushland, with breathtaking views over Moreton Bay.
Reminiscent of Tuscany, the Tuscan Terrace, delivers wonderful seasonal flavours, prepared in traditional home-cooked Tuscan style.
Open exclusively for private functions, weddings and events, Restaurant Lurleen’s enjoy a contemporary modern Australian menu, while taking in the breathtaking views out to Moreton Bay and Stradbroke Island from the restaurant balcony.
The state of the art winery offers a wide range of experiences on-site, including the newly opened onsite accommodation ‘Sanctuary by Sirromet’, winery tours and wine tastings, weddings and functions, internationally accredited wine education, wine club and a year-round calendar of events.
